Starting and ending in Labuan Bajo, this route takes you from mountain ridge to jungle riverbed, through isolated tribal villages and into the waves of deserted beaches. Along the way, explore Wae Rebo, an ancient mountain village accessible only by foot, ride to remote hot springs and white sand beaches, and conquer Flores' most legendary jungle tracks. This is the kind of ride where stories are born — and legs are earned.
Arrive at Komodo International Airport (LBJ) and transfer to your hotel, check-in, and enjoy a welcome lunch. After a briefing and bike check, we’ll take a relaxed afternoon ride to get a feel for the Kawasaki KLX 250s. Sunset ride through the hills with coastal views. Welcome dinner and overnight at your hotel.
Depart early, heading southwest along the stunning Komodo coastline and through rural jungle trails. Arrive at the basecamp for lunch. Begin a 1.5-hour guided hike through the rainforest to reach the remote Wae Rebo village. Meet the village elder and stay overnight in a traditional conical house. Dinner included.
Descend from Wae Rebo basecamp and start riding east along the remote southern coast. Expect technical terrain, multiple river crossings, forest sections, and rural tracks. Finish the day at a secluded beach, where a local family hosts us for a seafood BBQ and overnight camping.
Climb inland toward the Ngada region, riding through savanna and volcanic plains with epic views of Mount Inerie. Visit the preserved tribal villages of Bena and Gurusina. Refresh with a dip in the local hot springs. Stay overnight in a traditional home, experiencing authentic village life and home-cooked meals.
Day 5 – Gurusina to Ende (Coastal Riding & Hotel Break)
Ride past the slopes of Inerie Volcano, descend to the south coast, and cruise winding tarmac and off-road sections. Stop for lunch in Ngera village and continue to the port town of Ende. Stay in a comfortable hotel, enjoy a seafood dinner, and relax. Bikes receive maintenance tonight.
Ride into the Wolowaru highlands and through lesser-known local villages, followed by a technical descent to Koka Beach. Swim in the ocean, enjoy grilled seafood, and camp directly on the beach under the stars.
Ride deep into Flores' interior through winding highland trails and past wild horses. Reach the high plains near Mt. Kelimutu. Stay at the Kelimutu Eco Lodge, with options to relax, explore the nearby area, or visit the local reggae bar for live music and dinner.
Early morning ride or hike to the famous tri-colored crater lakes of Mt. Kelimutu at sunrise. After breakfast, ride a technical jungle trail deep into the north Flores mountains. Expect logs, riverbeds, and tight off-road challenges. Finish the day with a well-earned rest at a beachside guesthouse in Mbay.
Continue the jungle adventure along untamed coastline tracks, wild trails, and mangrove forests. Lunch stop in Riung, followed by a ride to a remote white-sand beach. Set up camp for our final night under the stars. Seafood BBQ and farewell bonfire.
