The search for something more
During COVID, something shifted.
The urge to explore the world and chase real adventure grew stronger than ever. The roads I had been riding across the Netherlands and Europe suddenly felt too familiar. Beautiful, but predictable.
I wanted something more raw.
More unknown.
But riding on other continents turned out to be far more complicated than expected. Shipping bikes, navigating paperwork, understanding local rules, and figuring out where to ride was overwhelming.
So the plan changed.
Instead of doing everything alone, I started riding with local operators. Renting bikes, joining small guided groups, and learning from riders who knew their regions better than any map ever could.
