Day 1 – Selfoss ? Jökulheimar
Ride from Selfoss through the stunning Icelandic highlands. Visit MT. Hekla, Hjálparfoss, Gjáin, Háifoss (Iceland’s second-highest waterfall), Þórisvatn Lake, and arrive at Jökulheimar Mountain Hut for a welcome dinner of fresh fish or steak.

Day 2 – Jökulheimar ? Rjúpnavellir
Cross the Veiðivatnahraun lava field and explore Veiðivötn lakes, MT. Hekla, and the wild highland landscapes. End the day at the cozy Rjúpnavellir Mountain Hut.

Day 3 – Rjúpnavellir ? Hungurfit
Enter the land of volcanoes: ride past craters, lava fields, and the turquoise waters of Ljótipollur and Hnausapollur volcanic craters. Stories of ancient eruptions bring the landscape to life. Overnight at Hungurfit Mountain Hut.

Day 4 – Hungurfit ? Álftavötn
Ride the dramatic Fjallabak region and soak in Landmannalaugar’s geothermal pools. Pass the Tungnaá River, Langisjór Lake, Vatnajökull Glacier, Eldgjá volcanic fissure, and the Skaftá River before reaching Álftavötn Mountain Hut.

Day 5 – Álftavötn Loop Ride
A full day of exploration: Eldgjá canyon, Langisjór Lake, Breiðbakur Mountain, and Blautulón Lake. Expect surprises, hidden gems, and the full magic of Iceland’s highlands.

Day 6 – Álftavötn ? Selfoss
Final ride through Öldufellsleið, Mýrdalsjökull and Eyjafjallajökull glaciers, the black sands of Mælifellssandur, Mælifell volcano, Markarfljótsgljúfur canyon, and the desolate Emstrur region. Return to Selfoss and wrap up the adventure.
