Embark on a full-throttle Sahara experience combining the best of rocky trails, high-altitude plateaus, and towering sand dunes. This 7-day off-road tour is perfect for experienced riders who want a more equal mix of terrain: from Morocco's winding mountain tracks to the 205-meter dunes of Erg Chebbi. Ride through dried lake beds, sandy riverbeds, and the spectacular lunar landscapes of Jebel Saghro. Each day blends adrenaline with authenticity, with nights spent in traditional kasbahs, auberges, and an unforgettable desert bivouac. Riders can choose between KTM 450 EXC enduro bikes or join in the action with a Can-Am buggy.
Welcome to Morocco! Upon arrival in Marrakech, you'll settle into your hotel and meet the rest of the group. In the evening, enjoy a traditional welcome dinner to kick off the journey and get briefed on the adventure ahead.
The ride begins as we leave the bustling city behind and head into the High Atlas Mountains. Expect winding mountain roads, scenic viewpoints, and an ascent up to 2,400 meters. We arrive in Ouarzazate—the “Hollywood of Morocco”—by late afternoon and check into our desert hotel for a night under the stars.
A day of varied terrain as we push eastward along rugged off-road trails and scenic valleys. We navigate through foothills and canyons to reach the breathtaking Dades Gorge, where our charming hotel awaits. Relax by the pool or soak in the view with a mint tea in hand.
The route takes us toward the iconic Erg Chebbi dunes near Merzouga. Expect fast, open desert tracks and riverbed crossings before reaching the edge of the golden dunes. Our hotel sits at the foot of the sand mountains—perfect for relaxing with a cold drink after a big ride day.
After a morning play session in the sand dunes, we head deep into the desert to the remote village of Ouzina. The route follows part of the Paris-Dakar Rally trail, through empty expanses and Berber settlements. We arrive at our traditional Kasbah-style hotel surrounded by silence and stars.
A long and beautiful ride through the southern dunes and desert plains. As we continue along the old trade routes, the scenery opens up into true wilderness. We reach M’Hamid, the last village before the Algerian border, where we overnight in a boutique desert lodge.
This stage combines sweeping desert plateaus and challenging tracks as we make our way northwest. Cross dry lake beds and ancient riverbeds en route to Foum Zguid. The town offers a welcoming hotel with modern comforts and a pool—ideal for a well-earned rest.
Our final day of riding winds through desert landscapes, canyons, and mountain paths as we return to Ouarzazate. Celebrate the end of the journey with a farewell dinner and relive the best moments of this incredible week across the Moroccan Sahara.
After breakfast, transfers are arranged back to Marrakech or Ouarzazate airport. Departure times may vary depending on individual travel plans.
