Day 1: Hanoi to Phu Yen (190 km)


Begin your journey with a rider briefing before leaving Hanoi’s chaos behind. Ride through Ba Vi’s mountain foothills and cross into Phu Tho province. Pass Xuan Son National Park and arrive in the peaceful town of Phu Yen. Overnight in a local hotel.


Day 2: Phu Yen to Mai Chau (150 km)


Cruise alongside the Da River Lake. Stop at Moc Chau’s tea plantations for lunch and scenic photos. Continue through green valleys to Mai Chau, home of the Thai people. Enjoy a traditional dinner party and Xoe dance. Overnight in a stilt house homestay.


Day 3: Mai Chau to Tan Ky (270 km)


Leave the north and enter the legendary Ho Chi Minh Trail. Stop in Cam Thuy for lunch, then continue to Tan Ky, Nghe An. Visit the Km 0 milestone—an iconic wartime supply route marker. Overnight in a hotel in Tan Ky.


Day 4: Tan Ky to Phong Nha (280 km)


Ride through central Vietnam to Phong Nha–Ke Bang National Park, home to Asia’s oldest karst mountains and the massive Son Doong Cave. Explore caves on foot and enjoy the natural beauty before settling in at a local hotel for the night.


Day 5: Phong Nha to Khe Sanh (220 km)


Ride a remote trail across Phong Nha–Ke Bang National Park. Expect narrow jungle paths and rugged terrain with epic views. Visit the historic Khe Sanh Combat Base and local museum. Overnight in a hotel in Khe Sanh.


Day 6: Khe Sanh to Hue via Vinh Moc Tunnels (180 km)


Follow Road No. 9 past Hien Luong Bridge and visit the famous Vinh Moc Tunnel complex, built during the war to protect civilians. Continue your ride to the former imperial capital of Hue. Overnight in a central hotel.


Day 7: Hue Sightseeing Day


Explore the rich cultural history of Hue. Visit the Imperial Citadel, royal tombs, temples, and pagodas. Discover central Vietnam’s culinary gems during an afternoon food tour. Overnight again in Hue.


Day 8: Hue to Hoi An via Hai Van Pass (170 km)


Wake early for a sunrise visit to peaceful fishing villages. Then tackle the iconic Hai Van Pass with panoramic views over Da Nang Bay. Ride coastal roads into charming Hoi An, ending your 8-day adventure.
