Day 1: Arrival in Lima


Arrive in Peru and transfer to your hotel in Lima. Meet your tour leader for a full safety and route briefing before the journey begins.


Day 2: Lima – Paracas (3.5 hrs by car)


Transfer south along the Pan-American Highway to the seaside town of Paracas. Take a morning boat tour to the Ballestas Islands, home to sea lions and penguins. In the afternoon, hop on your bikes and take a short practice ride in the desert to get used to the terrain.


Day 3: Paracas – Ica – Nazca (220 km, 50% desert riding)


Begin the real off-road adventure with a ride through Paracas National Reserve and the dunes of Ica. Enjoy winding trails, dramatic sandscapes, and stunning coastlines before hitting the pavement to Nazca. A beautiful blend of adrenaline and open desert.


Day 4: Nazca – Flyover & Historical Sites


Take a morning flight over the world-famous Nazca Lines, then switch gears to visit the Cahuachi ceremonial center and the eerie pre-Inca cemetery of Chauchilla. Learn about ancient burial customs and sacred rituals among the desert ruins.


Day 5: Nazca – Pampas Galeras – Abancay (345 km, paved)


Ride through ever-changing altitudes as you climb from coastal hills to the Vicuña National Reserve of Pampas Galeras at 4,200m. Wind through spectacular valleys before reaching the town of Abancay, nestled in the Andean foothills.


Day 6: Abancay – Cusco (313 km, paved)


Continue on well-paved mountain roads through deep gorges, snowy peaks, and colorful landscapes to the imperial Inca city of Cusco. Arrive and check in at your hotel.


Day 7: Cusco – City Tour & Ollantaytambo


Morning visit to Cusco’s historic sites, including Qoricancha, Sacsayhuaman, and Tambomachay. In the evening, board the train from Ollantaytambo to Aguas Calientes at the foot of Machu Picchu.


Day 8: Machu Picchu – Cusco


Early morning visit to Machu Picchu, with a guided tour and free time to explore. After descending to Aguas Calientes, take the train back to Cusco.


Day 9: Cusco – Sacred Valley – Pisac (185 km, 50% dirt)


Ride dirt tracks past mountain lakes and scenic ridgelines. Visit the Moray Inca site and Maras salt flats, then descend into the Sacred Valley. Continue via gravel roads through the valley to Pisac, surrounded by terraced hills.


Day 10: Pisac – Paucartambo – Manu Cloud Forest (190 km, 50% dirt)


Climb through Ninamarca’s pre-Inca tombs and cross the Acjanaco Pass (3,550m) into the Manu Cloud Forest. Descend into the jungle to reach San Pedro, a lush biological haven home to orchids, ferns, and Peru’s national bird—the Cock-of-the-Rock.


Day 11: Manu – Huancarani – Cusco (200 km, 30% gravel)


Spot the Cock-of-the-Rock on an early forest walk, then ride thrilling dirt roads and winding backcountry routes back to Cusco for your final evening in the Andes.


Day 12: Cusco – Lima


Transfer to Cusco Airport, flight to Lima, and transfer to your hotel.
