Day 1 – Arrival in Ouarzazate

Arrive at Ouarzazate Airport, where you'll be met and transferred to a traditional 4-star riad-style hotel. Guests arriving via Marrakech can arrange a scenic transfer across the spectacular High Atlas Mountains.

After check-in, complete the motorcycle paperwork, meet your guides, and get acquainted with your KTM 450 EXC. Spend the afternoon relaxing by the pool or exploring Ouarzazate before enjoying a welcome dinner with the group.

Day 2 – Ouarzazate -> N'Kob

Distance: Approx. 230 km

The adventure begins with fast tracks across the military plains outside Ouarzazate before dropping into winding gorges and dry riverbeds. Ride flowing sandy trails through the foothills of the High Atlas Mountains, crossing broad riverbeds and remote palm groves.

After a picnic lunch in the wilderness, the route climbs onto the spectacular Jebel Saghro Mountains, famous for dramatic volcanic rock formations often compared to Monument Valley.

Finish the day at a beautifully restored 200-year-old kasbah, where Moroccan hospitality, mint tea, and a refreshing swimming pool await.

Day 3 – N'Kob -> Sahara Desert Bivouac

Distance: Approx. 205 km

Leave N'Kob and immediately return to the dirt, riding through traditional villages, palm oases, and the first small dunes of the Sahara.

After refuelling in Tazzarine, venture onto exclusive desert tracks rarely used by other travelers. Navigate rocky riverbeds, fast desert plateaus, acacia-lined trails, and sections of the infamous fesh-fesh, one of the Sahara's most technical riding surfaces.

Refuel in the remote village of Remlia, where fuel is still sold from bottles, before crossing dry lakebeds toward your desert camp.

Arrive at a traditional Berber bivouac, where optional dune riding, sunset drinks overlooking Erg Chebbi, a Moroccan tajine dinner, live local music, and an unforgettable night beneath the Sahara stars await.

The afternoon climbs back through the dramatic Jebel Saghro Mountains, following twisting rocky trails with panoramic mountain views, steep valleys, and striking geological formations.

Finish the day in the beautiful Dades Valley, where a comfortable French-owned auberge with swimming pool offers the perfect place to recover after another rewarding day in the saddle.

  • A full motorcycle license is required to ride the KTM 450.

  • For buggy drivers, a standard driver’s license is sufficient.

  • Travel insurance that covers off-road motorcycle riding and includes repatriation is mandatory.

You are expected to treat the KTM 450 like your own. Reckless handling or accidents that render the bike unrideable may result in finishing the tour in the support vehicle.

Luggage & Packing
Only one 40L soft barrel bag per person is allowed in the support vehicle (provided on arrival). Excess gear can be stored safely at base. You’ll be in riding gear most of the day, so pack light.
