Day 0 – Arrive in South Africa

Arrive at Johannesburg International Airport, where a Sama representative will meet you and transfer you to your Pretoria hotel. Settle in, relax after your flight, and explore nearby shops, restaurants, and cocktail bars. At 2 pm, receive your keys and attend the pre-tour briefing. In the evening, enjoy a welcome dinner with the group. Optional pre-tour activities are available for early arrivals, including a Pretoria city tour, Lion & Rhino Park visit, Soweto Tour, or a massage at an African spa.

Day 1 – Pretoria ? Tuli Block, Botswana (~450 km)

Ride north from Pretoria through South Africa’s Limpopo province, where the landscape becomes wilder. After crossing into Botswana, continue to your lodge in the Tuli Block, nestled on the banks of the Limpopo River—home to crocodiles and hippos. Dinner is served in the boma, with a chance to enjoy local African dancers performing under the stars. Fall asleep to the sounds of the African night, including lions roaring in the distance.

Day 2 – Tuli Block ? Nata (~452 km)

Head further into Botswana towards Nata, on the edge of the vast Makgadigadi Salt Pans. In the afternoon, swap bikes for a safari vehicle and embark on a sunset tour across the salt flats—home to breathtaking views, unique wildlife, and one of the largest salt complexes on Earth.

Day 3 – Nata ? Chobe National Park (~330 km)

Ride towards the northern border of Botswana, passing elephants grazing by the roadside—Botswana is wild, and fences are few. Arrive in Chobe National Park in the early afternoon, a river paradise where you’ll embark on a boat safari along the Chobe River. Watch hundreds of elephants come to the water’s edge to drink, play, and swim. A photographer’s dream!

Day 4 – Chobe ? Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe (~80 km)

After an early morning safari in Chobe National Park, cross into Zimbabwe and head to Victoria Falls, the largest sheet of falling water in the world. Arrive by early afternoon, with an included helicopter flight over the falls—the "Flight of Angels" offers the best perspective of this natural wonder.

Day 5 – Rest Day, Victoria Falls

Enjoy a full day to explore Victoria Falls and its many adventure activities: guided tours of the falls, canoeing down the Zambezi River, visiting an elephant sanctuary, bungee jumping, or white-water rafting. For a more relaxed pace, unwind by the hotel pool, book a spa treatment, or simply enjoy the stunning surroundings.

Day 6 – Victoria Falls ? Chobe National Park

Return to Botswana with a relaxed morning in Victoria Falls. After lunch, head back to Chobe National Park. In the afternoon, join an open vehicle safari for another chance to spot wildlife, including leopards in the trees and herds of elephants gathering by the river.

Day 7 – Chobe ? Gweta (~420 km)

Ride deeper into Botswana, making your way to Planet Baobab near the Makgadigadi Pans. Swap two wheels for four and head out on quad bikes across the salt flats. Meet the local meerkats—curious and unbothered by human visitors—before setting up camp under a billion stars for a unique wild camping experience.

Day 8 – Gweta ? Maun (~210 km)

Wake up to a stunning sunrise on the salt pans and enjoy coffee in the wilderness. Take the quad bikes for one last exploration before returning to Planet Baobab for breakfast. After a shower, continue your ride to Maun, the gateway to the Okavango Delta.

Day 9 – Overnight Okavango Delta Safari

Travel by 4x4 to the poler station, then hop into traditional dugout canoes (mokoros) for an unforgettable journey through the Okavango Delta’s waterways. Enjoy a bush lunch and set up camp on a remote island, surrounded by hippos, elephants, and even lions. Optional guided walks are available. Sleep in tents, with all meals prepared by the team in the bush.

Day 10 – Maun ? Makumutu (~310 km)

After returning from the Delta, enjoy a quick shower and breakfast before setting off on the bikes. Ride further south through Botswana, ending the day at a safari lodge. Relax by the pool, grab an ice-cold drink, and enjoy the evening.

Day 11 – Makumutu ? Tuli Block (~510 km)

Ride through the expansive landscapes of Botswana, stopping for lunch at the Khama Rhino Sanctuary—a community-based conservation project. Continue on to the Tuli Block for your final night on the banks of the Limpopo River.

Day 12 – Tuli Block ? Pretoria (~380 km)

The last day of riding takes you south across the border back into South Africa. Arrive in Pretoria, return the motorcycles, and celebrate an epic adventure with a farewell dinner.
