Night 1: Welcome to Chiang Mai – Arrival & Preparation

Your adventure begins the moment you land in Chiang Mai. We know long travel can take its toll, so we’ve included an extra night for you to unwind. Relax, explore the city, and prepare for the thrilling days ahead.
The Next Morning:
At 7:30 AM, we’ll pick you up from the hotel and bring you to Route 66 Bikers Café for a hearty breakfast. After fueling up, we’ll handle the paperwork, safety briefing, and bike handover before hitting the road.
Day 1: Chiang Mai ? Phayao ? Nan (300 km)
The Golden Triangle Tour officially begins. Ride through twisty mountain roads, cruise past rice fields, and pass through remote villages where time moves slower.
Stops Along the Way:
- Kwan Phayao Lake – Northern Thailand’s largest freshwater lake, a perfect place to stretch your legs.
- Wat Tilok Aram – A submerged Buddhist temple with centuries of history.
- Wat Phumin – A stunning temple famous for its detailed murals depicting life in ancient Thailand.
The day ends in Nan, a town rich in history and culture.
Day 2: Nan ? Bo Kluea Salt Wells ? Doi Phukha National Park ? Nan (200 km)
Today is all about mountain roads, breathtaking views, and cultural heritage.
Stops Along the Way:
- Bo Kluea Salt Wells – A mountain village where salt has been harvested for over 800 years.
- Doi Phukha National Park – Towering peaks, dense forests, and panoramic views.
- Hill Tribe Villages – Ride through small villages where traditional ways of life remain unchanged.
Return to Nan for the evening.
Day 3: Nan ? Phu Langka ? Phu Chi Fa ? Chiang Khong (280 km)
This is one of the most scenic days of the entire tour, with high-altitude mountain passes and stunning viewpoints.
Stops Along the Way:
- Phu Langka – A ride above the clouds with mist-covered valleys stretching into the horizon.
- Phu Chi Fa – A panoramic viewpoint on the Laos border, overlooking the Mekong River.
- Hmong Hill Tribes – Experience the culture and traditions of the local communities.
The day ends in Chiang Khong, a quiet riverside town on the Mekong River.
Day 4: Chiang Khong ? Golden Triangle ? Chiang Rai (200 km)
Ride through one of Thailand’s most legendary regions, the Golden Triangle.
Stops Along the Way:
- Mekong River Ride – A scenic road following the natural border with Laos.
- Golden Triangle Viewpoint – The meeting point of Thailand, Laos, and Myanmar.
- Hall of Opium Museum – Learn about the region’s complex history with the opium trade.
- Wat Rong Khun (White Temple) – A surreal fusion of modern art and Buddhist symbolism.
The day ends in Chiang Rai, known for its vibrant markets and cultural heritage.
Day 5: Chiang Rai ? White Temple ? Coffee Estate ? Fang (160 km)
A ride through rolling hills, farmland, and highland plantations.
Stops Along the Way:
- The White Temple – An architectural masterpiece, blending Buddhist tradition with modern artistic expression.
- Coffee Estate – A stop at a highland plantation to experience Thailand’s best coffee.
The day ends in the peaceful town of Fang, surrounded by rice paddies and misty mountains.
Day 6: Fang ? Chiang Dao Cave ? Chiang Mai (160 km) – Tour Finale
The final stretch takes riders through scenic farmlands and limestone cliffs before descending into Chiang Mai.

- Chiang Dao Cave – An underground temple with Buddha statues and impressive rock formations.
- Local Lunch in Chiang Dao – Enjoy Northern Thai specialties before the last ride back to Chiang Mai.
- Final Ride into Chiang Mai – A last stretch through the countryside before returning to the city.
The adventure concludes in Chiang Mai with a farewell dinner to celebrate the journey.
